The commemoration of Indonesian Cocoa Day in 2020 is held differently from previous years, where our country and even the whole world is in the Covid-19 Pandemic, so we cannot freely hold activities and activities. The commemoration of Indonesian Cocoa Day in 2020 is filled with Cocoa Webinars and considering the current situation and conditions, the Cocoa Webinar is held through online / virtual.
The Cocoa Webinar was preceded by a Cocoa Pre-Webinar which was held on August 31, 2020 with the same theme as the Cocoa Webinar theme, namely “Saving State Foreign Exchange Through Increasing National Cocoa Production With Corporate Principled Farm Management”.
The purpose of the Webinar is to collect opinions and agreements of the participants on matters related to the theme of Indonesia Cocoa Day 2020 to be submitted to the government.
The speakers at the pre-webinar were:
- Farmers/Farmer Groups
- Cocoa Company/Cocoa Industry
- Cooperatives and NGOs
And the participants of the Pre Webinar are all parties related to cocoa except the government.
The Cocoa Webinar is held right on Indonesian Cocoa Day on September 16, 2020, and as speakers / resource persons at the Cocoa Webinar are:

Based on the exposure of the resource persons and the developing discussion, the formulation of the cocoa Webinar covers the following aspects: General, Pre-Harvest, Post-Harvest and Industry, Marketing and Import Export, Human Resources, Financial Resources, Institutional and Partnerships and Regulations.
