The working visit of the Executive Director (ED – ICCO) Dr. Jean-Marc Anga to Indonesia was conducted on January 21-27th, 2018.
The working visit was intended to accommodate various inputs related to efforts that ICCO can do to improve the Indonesian cocoa sector as well as job vacancies at the Directorate of Economics at the ICCO Secretariat specifically intended for representatives from Indonesia.
– ED ICCO’s working visit to Indonesia was filled with the following events:
Cocoa Workshop with Ministries/Institutions and Private Sector. The Cocoa Workshop was held on January 22th, 2018 at the Office of the Directorate General of Plantations, with the presentation of the :
- ED – ICCO with the topic “Global Market for Cocoa Products – Recent Trends and Future Outlook”.
- Directorate General of Plantation with the topic “National Policies on Sustainability Cocoa Development in Indonesia”
- Chairman of the Indonesian Cocoa Board with the topic “Recent Profile of Indonesian Cocoa”.
Courtesy Call was held at the Office of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs on January 23th, 2018.
The Courtesy Call (CC) was attended by cocoa-related ministries/agencies.
Working visit to the Indonesian Coffee and Cocoa Research Center in Jember.
In addition to holding meetings at the Center, field visits were also held at the Center’s plantation and PTPN XII’s plantation.
